The NMU-IR Policy provides a comprehensive framework for the submission, management, preservation, dissemination, and long-term accessibility of the University’s intellectual and scholarly works. It outlines the roles and responsibilities of authors, the Library, and other stakeholders, while ensuring that research outputs are managed in accordance with international best practices in scholarly communication.

By establishing this policy, Nigeria Maritime University reaffirms its commitment to increasing the discoverability, accessibility, and preservation of institutional research, fostering greater collaboration, supporting knowledge sharing, and contributing to national and global research development.
